Environmental Initiatives
Metwest Engineering has installed a 90kW solar system to help reduce the impact our operations have on the environment.
Metwest has contributed to the Greenfleet bio-diverse forestry program for over fifteen years.
As well as offsetting greenhouse gas, this action is helping to improve water quality, reduce soil degradation and provide essential habitat for native wildlife.
Metwest Engineering have been taking practical climate action with Greenfleet since 2007 by supporting our work in native reforestation. As an organisation, Metwest Engineering believes strongly in reducing harm to the environment through sustainable business practices.
By supporting Greenfleet, they are helping us rebuild ecosystems in Australia and have offset more than 2,700 tonnes of carbon which is like taking more than 630 cars off the road for a whole year.
